Buddha View Technical Diving teaches DSAT courses. DSAT offers a series of qualifications and even offers technical courses aimed at recreational divers who are either just curious or uncertain of making the full commitment to technical diving. Compromising of knowledge development, practical applications and diving, each course is designed to build knowledge and skills steadily and thoroughly.
Great Environment
For technical diving Koh Tao offers all the elements required, its warm, calm and clear waters ensure your training is undertaken in ideal conditions. If you are lucky you could be joined on your decompression stops by one of the many whale sharks that pass by Koh Tao. As you progress in your training, you will be able to visit some of Koh Taos stunning WWII wrecks*. Wreck sites range in depths from 50-85m making them ideal for technical diving.

Discover Tec
A simple, shallow taster dive. Get in the gear and have a go. It’s an exciting experience to try even if you would never choose further technical training. It’s something different and every diver will find it interesting and will learn something new.

Tec 40m A recreational orientation to technical diving. A new speciality, which can be counted towards a Master Scuba Diver rating, Tec 40 is a four dive course. This course includes decompression dives off dedicated tec diving boat, can be counted towards further technical training and is an excellent introduction to technical diving methodology.

WANNA TAKE IT FURTHER?
Tec 45m This is level one of the technical qualifications. It’s a no-stop multi-gas qualification, meaning the diver can extend their no stop time by carrying and switching to oxygen richer gases.

Tec Deep
This is level 2 of the technical qualifications. It qualifies the diver to exceed no-stop time and accelerate their decompression by switching to higher oxygen nitrox blends. Max depth 50meters

Trimix
The final course in the spectrum is the Trimix course, qualifying the divers to go beyond the narcotic and toxic depth limits imposed by air.

Equipment Technician
The Equipment Technician course runs over 2 days and is designed to give the students all the knowledge and skills required to service the Aqualung range of equipment. This includes the calypso unbalanced regulator, Titan balanced regulator, Legend over balanced regulator, inflator units and BCD repair. The students will be shown the simplest and most practical methods of servicing the equipment exactly as
they would come across the regulators in a busy dive shop environment. 6,000 THB
Compressor Operator
The Compressor Operator course runs over 1 day and teaches the students the correct start up, filling and shut down procedures when operating a compressor. The students will also be taught simple compressor maintenance like oil and filter
changes. By the end of the course the students will be comfortable operating a compressor and if continuing onto the blending course will be able to use a membrane system. 6,000 THB
Nitrox Blender
The Nitrox Blender runs over 1 day and teaches the students to accurately and safely blend nitrox to the required blend. The main section of the course covers partial pressure blending which is the most common form of blending found around the world. For students who have already completed the compressor operator course, they will also be taught how to fill a tank using a membrane system.

Buddha View IDC Diving Koh Tao have just opened a dive booking office in Haadrin, Koh Phangan, in cooperation with Sail Rock Divers 5 Star IDC, Koh Phangan. It will offer a great service for those full moon party revellers booking their diving for both Koh Tao and Koh Phangan.
Whalesharks sighted diving Twins, eagle rays at Japanese Garden and turtles coming ashore on the beach ofKoh Nangyuan. It will be a wonderful summer diving Koh Tao this year.
Koh Tao has also been recognised by PADI as the worlds leading diving education destination with Buddha View IDC Diving Resort, Koh Tao being awarded the 'Outstanding Contribution to the Dive Industry'. It looks like a great year ahead diving Koh Tao.
